Configure 3rd party Clients/Mobile Devices

Supported email clients list

Below is a list of mail clients and mobile devices you can setup your email with.
Click the name of your mail client or mobile device to see instructions for setting
it up to work with your RealPageMaker hosted email.

If your client or device isn't listed here, we don't yet have instructions for its
configuration, but we suggest that you try out the general instructions for other mail clients.

Basic Email Settings

Email Type: POP or POP3 (do not select IMAP or exchange server)

Incoming Mail Server
  • Incoming mail server (POP3) - Enter mail.yourdomain.com ex. mail.johndoe.com
  • E-mail Address - Enter your e-mail address ex. john@johndoe.com
  • User Name - Enter your e-mail address, again ex. john@johndoe.com
  • Password - Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account (View/Change an Email Password)
  • Port - 110
  • SSL - no


Outgoing Mail Server
  • Outgoing mail server (SMTP) - Enter mail.yourdomain.com ex. mail.johndoe.com
  • Authentication - Required. Please use the same settings as for the incoming mail server.
    • User Name - Enter your e-mail address, again ex. john@johndoe.com
    • Password - Enter the password you set up for your e-mail account (View/Change an Email Password)
  • Port - 2525
  • SSL - no
